      Recap of MagentoCom (China) 2013

      Over 200 attendees from the e-commerce industry stepped aside from their routine works on 18 November 2013 to take part in the very first MagentoCom (China) conference. “E-Commerce Potentials in China and East Asia” was tagline this year, but after the unprecedented success MagentoCom (China) enjoyed in 2013, Bluecom felt compelled to make it an annual event.

      Ryan Scott and Patrick Deloy were the featured speakers, inspiring attendees to explore the e-commerce potentials in China and East Asia they were passionate about and network with the business owners, online merchants, digital and e-commerce leaders. Ryan shared the joy he felt when he met the unspoken needs of the potential clients after going the extra mile to discover what they really wanted over the past few months in China, and Patrick encouraged the attendees to challenge themselves to find a successful e-commerce strategy for their business.

      The presentations struck a chord with Olivier Boisnard, who remarked, “From CRM to CEM, new challenges of multichannel experience management.” With the motivation from all the speakers, a chance to interact with the business owners, online merchants, digital and e-commerce leaders, and a full view of Puxi Shanghai enjoyed from the famous Zpark bar on 25th floor of the hotel, it was truly a day to remember.
